DFDS Logistics Ghent is looking for a customer service manager.


Main responsibilities

  • Daily management of customer service team(s)
  • Manage the order processing end to end, find best solutions in order to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Integral part of the team and able to actively support and act as backup in case of need
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, internal and other relevant 3rd party stakeholders
  • Main point of contact in case of escalation and coordination
  • Initiator and participant of ad-hoc projects for ongoing improvement
  • Drive digital initiatives to ensure targets are being met


Knowledge & skills

  • High focus on people’s well-being and satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills/team player, flexible mindset
  • Good coaching skills
  • Problem solving mindset/ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Several years of experience in transport and logistics
