Our client has one of the largest Oracle ERP footprints in Benelux. The ERP scope includes Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Project management & Risk & Compliance modules.
The Fusion Cloud Programme, Oracle’s newest ERP application, is a prestigious 3-year cloud transformation programme to transfer the ERP’s Oracle Fusion Cloud, while changing as many processes as possible into standard Oracle process. Our multi-year transformation programme consists of different phases.

The first phase of the programme has been completed in January 2021. The second and larger phase is planned to go-live in July 2022.
The programme also includes additional projects (on top of the ERP transformation) such as Revenue Mgmt (to integrate billing solution with general ledger, IFRS 15 compliant) and Order Delivery (to integrate CRM solution with Supply Chain). An additional challenge in this exciting programme is the involvement of many third parties/systems (interfaces); such as e-invoicing solutions, planning systems, logistic partners, billing solutions, CRM system, retail systems … and many more.

You will be part of the PMO (project management office) and report to the Programme Director. The PMO also holds roles like Change & test manager; Release manager, Migration Manager, Cutover manager, PMO officer and coordinating our ERP system integrator.

The challenge is to be able to keep all the stakeholders both internal and external in line with the proposed deadlines and planning.

Functie-eisen

Data Migration is a crucial part of an ERP transformation programme. As a coordinator, you are also a liaison between Finance, Supply Chain, IT and our ERP system integrator.

Characteristics of this Role are:
  • Providing expert level knowledge in creating Project Plans, Mapping documents, Data Load Plan, Mock Load Plans and Business Rules plan.
  • Build a migration strategy
  • Report on progress and issues
  • Manage the different stakeholders to deliver, asses and load data
  • Identify the data to be transferred with business (data from legacy systems, masterdata vs transactional data, challenge approach (only open items)
  • Find the data legacy systems (AX, D365, …) with the experts (both masterdata as well as transactional data)
  • Organise cleansing and aligning data with business
  • Work with partner Cognizant that will build data migration solutions to extract the data, map the data (transfer) and load the data use existing data load capabilities to Fusion Cloud.
  • Plan trail runs, dry runs, final migration
  • Identify actions to reduce the amount of data (blackout periods….)
  • Co-ordinating for Pre-Load and Post Load data validation and for creation and distribution of preload and post load reports related to legacy and Fusion data.
  • Make sure sign offs that are required for SOX are done.
