Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. GTS operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
Team: GTS - Continuous Integration Tribe - Integration Open System
The Integration Open System(IOS) Team ensures the transition of Windows and Linux applications into the production environment according to corporate Standards and segregation of duty.
We are looking for an IT Analyst with good knowledge of Azure and Azure Devops with the ability to build continuous delivery pipelines for application deployment. You need to have experience in development on Windows and/or Linux Server.
Role
- You will look after deployment and configuration of Linux applications for the test, pre-production and production environments (automated & manual), liaising with the developers, testers and infrastructure experts (system engineers, security engineers, DBA, etc).
- You will administer the release pipeline in Azure DevOps
- You will define operational Self-Services for DevOps and operational teams
- You validate the operational documentation (including scenario of launch in Production) for the deployment and configuration of Linux application.
- You will create and validate the procedure and operational scripts to automate the deployment and configuration of Linux applications ensuring the traceability of launch activities.
- You review the architecture of the applications and ensure they can be released into the production environment in a simple and efficient way according to internal guidelines.
- You will provide second level support to Production Operations – available for on call duties during certain weekends.
Essential Technical skills
- Strong Azure and Azure Devops (for building continuous delivery CI/CD pipelines)
- Linux RedHat
- Ansible automation
- Oracle Server on Linux
- Scripting (Bash and Korn shell) on Linux
Good to have Technical skills:
- Java
- Websphere
- IBM MQ and IBM Integration bus
- Red hat clustering : Pacemaker
- Notions of security & architecture (clustering, load balancing, DMZ)
- Agile ceremonies practices
Required Soft skills:
- Problem solving and lateral thinking mind-set
- Good verbal communication in English
- String interpersonal skills to work in a high availability environment (Conscious and focussed on the controls required to assure the required service levels) is a plus.
Please note, System Engineering experience is not required for this position. It’s not a mission of pure development, We are looking for someone who is interested in the various aspects of integration of applications running on a Windows and/or Linux infrastructure (Security, network, middleware).
Work outside of business hours is sometimes required as launches in production are generally carried out after 5PM or on Saturday as well as watch duty at nights and weekends.
The team is based in our office of Brussels.
