We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.Title And SummaryDirector Capacity Building & TrainingJob TitleDirector, Training & EducationLocation: Hybrid Belgium and RemoteOverviewMastercard’s Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) team is responsible for innovation, development and management of our world class products and services to address evolving risk and security needs and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives for all Mastercard’s global customers.As part of this organization, the Cyber Threat Intelligence team is responsible for developing and managing cybersecurity related product and services which Mastercard offers customers across all related stakeholders including, consumers, issuers, acquirers, processors, and merchants.The cybersecurity industry is a quickly expanding market, growing in response to diverse and costly global cyber threats targeting all business sectors. Cybersecurity is often inaccessible and cost prohibitive to many businesses and organizations. They struggle to understand the impact of the threats and how they apply. Our objective in C&I is to provide accessible and affordable cybersecurity solutions to our customers.What We Are Looking ForMastercard is looking to create a more proactive approach to increase the cybersecurity of our customers. To that end we are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in becoming part of something new.Are you a bit of a crusader?Do you want to make a difference to the wider eco-system and help alleviate the impact that cyber breaches have on society?Are you able to work dynamically on multiple projects at one time?Role & ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions to establish collaborative efforts aimed at training cybersecurity and cyber threat intelligence practitioners.Develop and execute strategic plans for outreach to potential partners to achieve program goals.Create and manage certification programs in both classroom and online settings to ensure consistent and effective training for practitioners.Collaborate with university partners to design and implement cybersecurity and cyber threat intelligence courses and programs.Develop and maintain a network of subject matter experts to contribute to educational materials, such as newsletters, podcasts, and other resources.Manage the development and distribution of educational materials to ensure they are accurate, relevant, and accessible.Assess the effectiveness of educational programs and adjust as needed to meet the needs of the target audience.Host and manage cyber thought leadership events, such as conferences, symposiums, and workshops, to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry leaders and practitioners.Stay current with trends and best practices in cybersecurity and cyber threat intelligence to ensure the program remains relevant and effective.Establish and maintain relationships with funding sources to secure resources for the program.All About YouConsidered an expert in cybersecurity as well as other related Intelligence/ Information Security disciplines.Excellent partnership and training management skills and dedicated to staying current with emerging trends and best practices.Familiarity with existing and emerging security technologies, related risks, and business opportunities.Technical understanding of existing and emerging cyber security threats, mitigation techniques, security policy development and technical familiarity with existing and emerging security technologies, related risks, and business opportunitiesFamiliarity with cybersecurity landscape and major threats and trends that have garnered attention.Experience and knowledge about the current cybersecuirty education landscape, globally.Ability to influence with effective communications and negotiation skills.Experience in working with cross functional teams in getting projects executed. Education and Additional CompetenciesThis position requires a master’s degree and at least 15 years of cybersecurity experience, including 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions.People Management Experience Preferred.Preferred – MS Cybersecurity and/or CISSP or other related.Law Enforcement Or Intelligence Experience, Preferred.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts in clear and concise language.A background in delivering client-focused outcomes.Experience in developing and executing strategic plans for outreach and partnership development.Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and deliverables.Demonstrated experience in managing the development and distribution of educational materials.Existing relationships with academia and government required.Ability to engage non-technical audiences and bridge different domains, including strategy, governance, and operations.Proven expertise in network and relationship building.Corporate Security ResponsibilityResponsibilitiesAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must
