Suttons Group are an family owned and run global logistics business who have seen exponential growth this past year. We are now looking for a Documentation Coordinator as part of our International Operations Team based in Antwerp.

This is a hybrid position with a mixture of both home and office working.

The Role

You will be liaising directly with the Operations Team to support them on providing global logistics solutions for the transportation of hazardous and non hazardous chemicals, from supplier to receiver. There will be coordination with carriers and customers on master and house bill of ladings as well as monitoring and updating our in house systems.

Key Accountabilities

  • Documentation related tasks including issuing shipping instructions to carriers and approving drafts
  • Checking and obtaining final master bill of lading within 24hr vessel departure
  • Handle all documentation related requested from customers
  • Issue house bill of lading to customers after receipt
  • Liaise and coordinate with other teams and departments on pending tasks and issues
  • Clerical tasks such as preparing correspondence, database entries and keeping files

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally, experience from the logistics sector, specifically tank container operations would be desirable
  • Understanding of bill of lading
  • Highly meticulous and precise with detail
  • IT literate in MS Windows and MS Office Suite
  • Confident in communication with customers and team mates
