At the Whiteam we are seeking an Infrastructure (or “system”) Engineer to join our team in Braine L’Alleud, Belgium(20km from Brussels) and work with European Public Agencies.

Role: Implementation of updates and patches on infrastructure (Data Warehouse) services assets (HW and SW)

Tasks:

  • Patch identification, patch validation (Testing according to contractor’s defined test plans), patch implementation
  • Participation to meetings (Change Management, Control Boards, etc.)
  • Updates of CIs in contractors’ CMDB

Technical environment:

  • VMWare Servers: ESxi, VCenter
  • MS Windows Servers: ECM, Office, Sharepoint, SQL
  • Linux: Ansible Control Nodes, Red Hat Enterprise, Oracle Enterprise Linux
  • Oracle: Weblogic Servers, DB Servers, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
  • Loadbalancers: Riverbed Stingray, Secure
  • Other: Mysql, PostgreSQL
  • HW: HPE and Dell Servers
  • Tools: Updates distribution systems (SCCM/MECM,WSUS, Ansible, iLO Amplifier, Oracle Linux Manager, Trellix ePolicy orchestrator)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
