Job Purpose and Impact

The European Supply Manager, for Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers will supervise supply and inventory planners, overseeing all day-to-day supply and inventory planning activities for 15 Cargill manufacturing sites around Europe. In this role, you will lead our team that monitors key integrated planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data and manage cross-functional work teams and third-party storage providers.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
• Review and publish supply planning and scheduling assumptions and metrics targets.
• Partnering with other parts of the end to end supply chain, such as Manufacturing and Transportation teams, in order to leverage Service being provided to our customers.
• Being responsible for a large and complex set of external warehouse/storage locations which are operated by third-party providers.
• Prepare the supply and inventory planning inputs for capacity scenarios and recommendations.
• Using substantial knowledge and robust experience, give inputs to define inventory strategy and segmentation, incorporating other relevant strategies.
• Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
• This position will require traveling, up to 30% of time.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 5 years in supply chain
• Proficient in English language.
• Previous experience in SAP implementation an advantage
• Experience in working in multicultural, cross-functional and multi-location team environment.
