Brussels | Finance Manager | Accounting | French Dutch English | Permanent Contract | 3+ years’ experience
For a company active in the real estate sector and located in Brussels, Hays is looking for a Finance Manager.
As Finance Manager, you manage a team of one person and are in contact with the Shared Service Center. You monitor, optimize and coordinate the month-end closing process. You improve the reporting and financial processes, ensure a good risk management and improve the appropriate controls. You review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the Shared Service Center. You oversee the AP, AR, bank reconciliations and sales tax return (VAT). You are the point of contact for the auditors and maintain relationships with other external stakeholders such as tax advisors and consultants. You develop the financial analysis of the monthly figures and determine the completeness and reliability of these figures. You work on different ad hoc projects and collaborate with other departments.
You have a bachelor in accounting/finance, and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or in an accounting management role. You speak French, Dutch and Englishfluently. You have strong knowledge of IFRS reporting, Be GAAP and local requirements. You have excellent Excel skills (V-Lookup, Sum If, pivot tables, …).
