In anticipation of a retirement, Childhome, a company that designs and sells childcare products and is a subsidiary of the Beaba Group (€70m turnover), is looking for a full-time Administrative and Financial Manager, based in Kontich (Belgium), on a permanent contract.

You will be responsible for the management of the financial, tax, HR and social aspects of Childhome. You will also be responsible for the supervision of the Kontich site.

Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for the accounting and payroll of the company, with the support of the social secretariat,

- Ensure cost accounting, cost control and expense validation process,

- Produce and analyse monthly reports for the group,

- Establish budgets and forecasts, in conjunction with the group,

- Be the guarantor of the company’s cash flow,

- Preparing and ensuring the compliance of annual accounts, social and tax declarations and other contributions, in conjunction with the chartered accountant,

- Monitoring payroll data and supervising its preparation, in conjunction with the social secretariat,

- Ensure the management and general compliance of the site with applicable laws and regulations,

- Manage relations with third parties (banks, auditors, etc.).

Qualifications:

Education and experience

Master in economics/finance

At least 10 years’ experience in financial control or financial management

Experience in tax and payroll issues

Particularities

Dutch and a good level of English required, French is a real plus,

Good knowledge of Excel and ERP tools (knowledge of M3 is a plus)

Hands-on, autonomous, proactive, frank and transparent
