Based in Brussels you will join a collaborative team full of passionate change-makers.

As an active member of the Finance Team, you will interact in the full spectrum of financial activities in a young and dynamic environment (team of 3 colleagues in a growing organization of 100 people).

YOUR MISSION

As a financial controller you will have the responsibility to analyze financial performance, provide recommendations for improvement, support corporate finance initiatives (business planning, budgeting, M&A, treasury management) and drive financial reporting to internal & external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Analysis
    Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement, working closely with all business teams
    Actively participate in the business planning and budgeting process
    Support corporate finance initiatives (M&A,…)
    Proactively manage treasury and working capital
Accounting & Controlling
    Drive financial reporting to internal & external stakeholders (Board of Directors, potential investors, granting bodies, project managers, executive committee,…)
    Work in close collaboration with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial reports, timely supplier payment processing and customer payment collection
    Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings & recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

    Master degree in economics, finance, business engineering or similar
    5 years of relevant experience (or 2-3 years in management consulting)
    Strong analytical skills & positive critical mind
    Ability to prioritize actions and goals
    A high level of entrepreneurial spirit and drive, combined with great interpersonal skills
    Fluent in English (written and oral)
    High proficiency in Excel
