We are looking for a Junior Global Communications Specialist – Corporate Communications who is creative, proactive, and detail-oriented to join us in our Global Corporate Communication team, based in our HQ, in Anderlecht, Belgium.

About The Role

You will play a key role in enhancing UCB’s reputation by supporting corporate and sustainability communication initiatives. This includes creating engaging content for internal and external channels, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring brand consistency across materials. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and purpose-driven international environment while contributing to impactful communication projects.

Who You’ll Work With

You will be part of the Global Corporate Communication team, reporting to the Corporate & Sustainability Communication Lead. You will collaborate with colleagues across global and local communication teams, sustainability teams, and other cross-functional departments. You will also interact with external communication agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality projects aligned with UCB’s corporate objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies, with a focus on sustainability
• Support content creation and distribution across social media, intranet, internal platforms, and the company website
• Co-develop and execute global corporate and sustainability communication activities, including campaigns and branding initiatives
• Contribute to communication tools that enhance corporate branding awareness and ensure compliance
• Manage PR and communications agency relations and collaborate with internal stakeholders for consistent messaging
• Track project timelines, analyze communication metrics, oversee internal reviews and stay updated on sustainability and corporate communication trends

Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• At least one proven experience in PR/communications (traineeship or junior role in a global communication team is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms
• Strong organizational, project management skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn, with experience in internal communications, video creation, and social media as a plus
