The Role
The Head of EIT Digital Human Resources is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR
strategy and delivers HR support and services to the entire EIT Digital organization across Europe; partnering
with the leadership team and the management committee on strategic HR initiatives, including talent
acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, performance management,0 people development and operation HR
processes to support the organisation.
The position reports directly to the Head of Operations of EIT Digital and works closely together with the C-
level management as well as with the EIT Digital Node Directors.
Main Responsibilities
- Development, deployment, dissemination and management of the HR policies and procedure across EIT
Digital;
- Management of the execution of recruitments, evaluations, and other HR related matters thereby
supporting the EIT Digital management;
- Development and maintenance of the overall personnel function and salary grid in agreement with the C-
level management;
- Provide expert, well-reasoned and flexible HR advice and ensure that all people activities and processes
are managed in line with EIT Digital policies, local regulations and standards;
- Advise and assist the management on employment law related matters;
- Support the management in goal setting, performance assessment, as well as career development
processes;
- Coach and challenge the management to develop the organisational capabilities and resources, lead
workforce transformation required to enable delivery of EIT Digital strategy;
- Manage the relationship with the HR, legal and financial contractors of EIT Digital.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in HR Management, with focus on Personnel Management, Labour Law and other HR
related subjects;
- At least 10 years of experience as a Senior HR Manager with exposure to different European countries;
- Management experience of several years in a similar role, in a complex organisation and with experience in
industry;
- Demonstrated expertise in labour law in various EU countries;
- Experience in an international, intercultural setting on a European scale;
- Hands-on leadership, effective in execution, and team worker and ability to deal with cultural diversity;
- Experience in working independently with high level of accuracy.
Languages
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt to a variety of
stakeholders is required.
Employment
This is a full-time position. EIT Digital office in Brussels. Selected candidate may be required to occasionally
travel to other EU countries.
