Our client is a fully integrated global radiopharmaceutical company headquartered in Shanghai with operations in China and Europe. They seek to own the entire value chain for radio-ligand production, research, development & commercialization in order to deliver clinical impact for patients. Their core platform seeks to attack the two core issues that exist in radiopharmaceuticals today: 1) the ability to produce in high quality and quantity enough radioisotope to meeting tomorrow’s needs and 2) innovative translational & biology research platform targeting the radio-pharma treatments of tomorrow.

Role
  • You coordinate and supervise the development program for the products in the company portfolio. You are monitoring the progress of the research team and you keep consistency among the different developments.
  • You bring new ideas to optimize the production processes in terms of yield, quality, safety, waste, and cost. You stay on top of new scientific development and try to integrate them in our processes to stay ahead of the competition
  • You suggest external partners for outsourcing part of the R&D activities, and you supervise the development activities outsourced to the partners.
  • You manage the development of processes according the GMP standards.
  • You suggest new ideas for developing the company portfolio in line with the global strategy. You advise the Chief Scientific Officer on new products that could be generated with the current production tools or some enhancement of it
  • You stay on top of the new scientific and technical development by screening the literature and attending relevant conferences.

Profile
  • Ph.D in Radiochemistry, or relevant discipline.
  • 15 years related experience in development of radioisotope production for nuclear medicine.
  • Experience with various source of irradiation, particle accelerator is an advantage.
  • You’ve experience with the production of Ac225 and other medical isotopes using cyclotron and particle accelerator.
  • You’ve experience in handling Ra226.
  • You are passionate by Science and Technology. You have strong sense of innovation, and you don’t leave any stone unturned. You feel fulfilled when you develop solutions creating value for the company.
  • You can be self-motivated. You want to work in a dynamic/ fast growing team with global standard.
  • You deliver. You are analytical and creative. You can see the big picture and provide advice to senior management. You can also work on tedious matters, focus on details and follow deadlines so that the team can rely on you.
  • You are a team player and a good communicator. You are resourceful, flexible, adaptable to work in highly dynamic start-up environment and different types of work.
  • Life science industry experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and practical skills. Able to use these skills to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent French and English (listening, writing, speaking).
