What You Will Do As a High-Voltage Technician

Elia operates one of the most reliable high-voltage grids in Europe. Thanks in part to you. As a high-voltage technician, you will ensure that our grid and our fleet of transformers in your area remain in perfect condition. This involves many things.
  • You will maintain and repair high-voltage control devices and circuits on our grid.
  • You will also look for the causes of any faults that arise.
  • You will take electrical measurements and familiarise yourself with new equipment.
  • You will work with an experienced colleague who will teach you all the tricks of the trade.
