We are looking for a assitant Human Resources Generalist in Wavre.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for all administrative functions to Human Resource activities for our European business.

Job Duties:
1. Align company policies and guidelines for the European office with those of our Global Company.
2. Manage and maintain company handbook based on local Belgium employment standards.
3. Work closely with the Managing Director and global Chief People Officer on key Human Resource objectives.
4. Point of resource and lead for all information relating to Europe employee benefits including but not limited to payroll, local pensions schemes and healthcare benefits.
5. Maintain Org Design and keep the employee directory up to date.
6. Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
7. Create and ensure we have a thorough onboarding and educating plan for new hires on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
8. Work closely with employees and local management team to ensure company safety policies as well as Belgium required safety and environmental regulations are observed.
9. Work with local management to ensure ISO forms and documents are being updated.
10. Lead new employee recruitment through communicating of open positions with local interim agencies and job boards.
11. Along with local management, schedule, and lead job interview processes with potential candidates.
12. Full understanding of LinkedIn and other professional websites to help further grower our European business.
13. Help employees create their IDP (Individual Development Plans) for further career success.
14. Work with local management on mid-year employee reviews ensuring timely completions.
15. With alignment from local management, help take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
16. Follow written (SOPs, company memos & e-mails) and verbal instructions.
17. Maintain sanitary and safe work environment.
18. Follow and enforce safety requirements.
19. Conduct incident investigations and complete a root cause analysis.
20. Collaborate with team members to ensure OSH training plan has occurred.
21. May actively participate in company’s Safety Committee.
22. Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
23. Keep records of safety-related incidents and recommend corrective actions.
24. Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
25. Must adhere to all company policies.
26. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
27. Follow all SOPs in a given area.
28. Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.

Profil

Qualifications:
. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or another related field.
. Experience in successful recruitment procedures.
. Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Fluent in French, English (and Dutch).
. Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing and communication tools.
. Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
. Leadership and coaching skills.
. Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
. Attention to detail and analytically driven.
