We are looking for a HR Global Mobility Coordinator to work in Belgium at either the RHEA Group headquarters in Wavre, or the offices in Diegem.

The key individual will provide specialist support by taking care of all operational aspects of international mobility and benefits management. You will have extensive contact with the rest of the HR team (Payroll and HR Specialists, Contracts and Administration, etc.) and with the operational business leaders, all the while defining clear processes with the Global Rewards & Mobility Manager.

Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Being responsible for managing the administration of all benefit-related tasks including the updating of the C&B database and guidelines. This includes:
    • Managing Employee benefits actions on a monthly basis (meal vouchers, insurances, pensions etc.) in accordance with local HR admin.
    • Managing the administration of vendor and suppliers’ contracts and invoices.
    • Assisting with the optimization of all benefit related policies.
    • Informing staff members of their benefits, answering questions and carrying out simulations where required.
  • Handling various aspects of our Global Mobility, including:
    • Assisting with the drafting of expatriation contracts.
    • Work permit applications and relocation support.
    • Tax and legal aspects and questions related to salary splits, expatriate statuses and secondments.
  • Assisting with various aspects of project management, including:
    • Drafting, implementing and optimizing new HR tools.
    • Assisting on issues such as social elections and collective labour agreements.
    • Occasionally assisting with work on international projects regarding rewards, whilst collaborating with other RHEA Group Business Services teams.

Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specific experience, plus a minimum of two years of professional experience in payroll, compensation and benefits or global mobility.
  • Experience and knowledge of Global Mobility.
  • Strong numerical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Customer-oriented (internal) and solution-oriented, in order to provide excellent customer service.
  • An Organized and structured work ethic, with natural attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The following skills would be highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of payroll and social labour law legislation related to payroll preferably across several European countries.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits (such as group insurance plans, health insurance etc.) in different European countries.
  • Fluent in another European language (particularly French and/or Dutch), both written and spoken.
