Job purpose & objectives:

  • ISO Manager: Be instrumental in bringing AbbVie leadership in Immunology to the Next Level
  • Directly support Immunology Division Director, with the collaboration with Business Unit Managers, in strategic decision making to ensure high performance in a changing landscape
  • Manage strategic activities across Immunology business units (incl. winning with data), and optimize outcomes to impact the business across all brands / indications
  • Define and implement roadmap to build internal and external 1MMUNO communication campaigns
  • Humira Manager: Maximize & Sustain Humira’s Potential
  • Lead the HUMIRA brand across all indications with specific focus on IBD and ensure that necessary MCM plans & projects are achieved
  • Lead Bio-T strategic plan incl. Bio-T working group

Accountability

Define, implement cross-immunology strategies and initiatives in alignment with Immunology priorities.

Reinforce 1MMUNO identity within and outside of AbbVie; optimize & standardize WOW within immunology; play a key role in identifying & accelerating synergies between BUs; collaborate with CEX to further optimize our winning with data approach.

Define & implement Humira MCM plan for HUMIRA brand mainly IBD, to a lesser extent HS + sustain a strong brand image / positioning of Humira within immunology landscape.

Lead the BioTherapeutic Strategy of AbbVie, consolidate relevant information from various sources on the new biosimilar competitors, ensure constant adaptation and anticipation of environmental changes alongside the market access team, develop commercial approach and partnership with external stakeholders for strategic immuno accounts

Tasks and responsibilities

ISO manager

  • Immunology internal consultant
  • Be a key member and influencer of the Immunology leadership team à Participate to the Immunology staff meetings, and appropriate brand team meetings upon request or depending of Business Units’ priorities
  • Have a deep understanding of immunology markets and customer groups, identify cross-indication opportunities for strategic involvement, assess areas of need for the business in alignment with cross-functional teams (eg. Pharmacist projects)
  • Diagnose and analyse brand, competitors, market evolution; this includes the understanding of patients’ and customers’ needs, the identification of key environment trends and demand driver in the market to adjust strategic planning and tactical plan
  • Identify areas of business development or partnerships to design and implement innovative solutions and/or services à Contact with key accounts for insights generation & project co-creation in areas of focus
  • Translate best practices from other countries into tactical opportunities
  • Foster synergies / collaboration across BUs on strategic topics
  • Optimize and standardize our ways of working across brands & functions

Humira brand lead

  • Humira lead
  • Humira P&L lead (incl. Financial f-up)
  • Management & maintenance of Humira X-indications key materials (posology card, reimb docs, Humira services etc)
  • Develop MCM plan for Humira across TAs & engaging with key accounts

Ø Priority: IBD with focus on CD MCM plan in alignment with IBD brand team

Ø Smaller indications with growth potential incl. HS

  • BioTherapeutics lead
  • Capture BioTherapeutic insights from various internal & external sources and follow up external stakeholders’ initiatives to anticipate future trends and evaluate the impact of additional measures for AbbVie (authorities’ decisions, new environment context, …)
  • Endorse the BioTherapeutic working group lead role and feed Brand Strategy regarding all BioT
  • Translate strategies into actionable plans and differentiated solutions or programmes; Implement and follow up commercial approaches in field
