Hays Information Technology is assisting one of their clients in their search for a Technical Incident Manager to join a dynamic, experienced and passionate team. The company is located in Brussels (south), and is active in the digitalization industry. they are one of the leaders in the Belgian market and are giving you the opportunity to strengthen your skills and to further develop your career.

In your role of Technical Incident Manager, you will join an IT department consisting of multiple teams (support, development, architecture, analysis, …) working on custom based projects. As part of your responsibilities, you will be entitled to ensure high security and platforms’ performance. You will monitor incidents to determine if the bug comes from the systems, development team, clients’ platform, … and you will align with adequate teams to get this solved. Next to this, you will also work on SLAs and change management with the aim of increasing the services’ reliability. Last but not least, you will lead a team of 3 people.

To be successful in this role, our client expects you to have previous experience in a technical role (e.g. system administrator). In addition to this, you have experience as an Incident Manager or in a similar role and as a Team Leader. An ITIL certification is considered as a plus. People describe you as solution-oriented, communicative and problem-solver. Besides this, you have strong analytical skills and you are a true team-player. Finally, you are fluent in French and English.
