Our Global Animal Health division is currently looking for an Industrial Pharmacist - QP.

What will you do

After a thorough, internal training and familiarisation period, your duties will consist of:

• You will have the final responsibility for the production, control, release and distribution of the veterinary medicines produced in our plant in Ypres.
• You are responsible for setting up and maintaining the GMP quality management system in accordance with the legal provisions.
• You are daily actively involved in the quality event across all aspects of production and quality control.
• You actively contribute to the Quality policy, the GMP procedures, working documents, protocols and reports together with the QA Manager and the other department heads.
• You are responsible for the control of batch records and internal and external laboratory results.
• You manage and maintain the GMP quality manual and ensure that it remains in compliance with cGMP and GDP legislation.
• You handle deviations, changes, OOS, CAPA, qualifications and validations.
• You align, in close cooperation with the QA manager and QC manager, the Quality policy with the quality systems of Ecolab.
• You actively contribute to the reporting of the quality KPI’s.
• You guide investment projects within the GMP department.
• You lead both internal and external audits.
• You are responsible for risk management.
• You are close to the operational and staff and establish training plans, train staff, make improvement proposals, in all aspects of GMP and data integrity.
  

What are we looking for

• You are an industrial pharmacist and recognized as a Qualified Person in Belgium.
• You live in West or East Flanders.
• You preferably have a first practical experience in a pharmaceutical production environment.
• You have basic experience in managing a GMP quality system.
• You speak and write fluently Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of French.
