Key responsibilities
  • Set out goals, requirements and preconditions, prepare all the information aspects in the agreements and contracts with all stakeholders in the project and wider design and construction value chain
  • Control, monitor and direct the BIM process management within the project; set up and keep up to date the structure (including workflows and common data environment) and protocols (like BIM execution plans) related to information
  • Are the main support in commercial process tender teams (presentation, proposal writing, budgeting) and in contract discussions regarding BIM process management related topics.
  • Interact with clients on topics related to BIM process management (and organize alignment between client policies vs project policies), where necessary you coach them on this subject
  • Act as a sparring partner and coach for roles in the project (like project managers, engineers, architects, modelers) on the subject of BIM process management. Resolve issues related to documents, methodologies, software and files as well as issues between the BIM process management parties.
  • Play a main role in the development of BIM process management within the company by sharing relevant market insights, identifying bottlenecks and advising on any adjustments in the organization’s strategic policy (in the field of BIM process management, construction process management or personnel management)
  • Coach and guide in the implementation and application of BIM process management in their projects.
  • Provide input for specific training and education of the VK staff related to BIM process management
  • Use your wide network of information managers to share best practices and exchange knowledge, this to enhance the overall quality of BIM process management within VK.
  • Participate in taskforces and workgroups on National and International level, related to digitalization of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sector.
  • Join in client and stakeholders’ meetings to share our (digital) vision and inspire stakeholders with our digital way of working.
Profile
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in information management in our field, preferably with a track record in health care, buildings and/or industry.
  • You are the owner of a master’s degree.
  • You have a proven track record in construction process management, quality management and stakeholder management as well as the strong interpersonal skills that go with this
  • You have an advanced knowledge of design software used within the built environment and an existing network to support this
  • You know your way around sector specific methods like ISO 19650 and system engineering
  • You are fluent in English and strongly preferable also in Dutch and French.
