A leading international organisation in Berchem is looking for an Intercompany & VAT analyst with strong analytical skills. Moreover, if you are eager to learn, well organized and dynamic, this function is the perfect opportunity to take a turning point in your professional career.The Intercompany & VAT Analyst Will Be Responsible For
  • Assist with the preparation of intercompany agreements (services, royalties, intercompany loans,…);
  • Assist with the recharges of group services and royalties
  • Assist with the annual transfer pricing documentation process by preparing transfer pricing reports in line with local legislation;
  • Cooperate with treasury by ensuring compliance of the intercompany loans with tax and transfer pricing legislation;
  • Assist with withholding tax formalities;
  • Maintain detailed overview of withholding costs and assist in preserving and collecting the required documentation with Local Finance Teams;
  • Provide accurate VAT data and prepare periodic VAT returns and/or European Sales Listings to ensure timely filing of all VAT formalities in line with local legislation
  • Reconcile turnover of filed VAT returns with annual accounts and maintain documentation of the reconciliations;
  • Monitor other periodic VAT compliance formalities and maintain Belgian VAT records and Lux VAT records;
  • Provide accurate data for corporate income tax and assist in preparing the disallowed expenses for the Belgian corporate income tax returns.
Profile Of Ideal Intercompany & VAT Analyst
  • You have a Bachelor or Master background in accounting/finance or tax
  • You have a first experience in the field of VAT, transfer pricing or tax
  • You are ambitious to grow with the company and take on extra projects to optimize processes, reporting, …
  • A first experience with an ERP is a plus
  • You have good Excel skills, experience with reporting tools is a plus
