For the Neuromodulation business unit, we are recruitingan InternationalDemand Planner based in our EMEA Headquarter in Zaventem, Belgium.

The purpose of the job is to ensure efficient supply of product to meet customer and business needs in the fast-paced, rapidly growing medical device industry.

The Demand planner also creates demand plans, lead the S&OP demand review and effectively manage field inventory by utilizing SAP APO, SNP and ECC.

Your roles and responsibilities include:

  • Developing the global demand plan for the Neuromodulation business unit.

  • Partnering across the organization to ensure the demand plan reflects new product introduction, launches in new geographies, end of life and product transitions.

  • Challenging plan vs actual results through tracking of key demand planning metrics like forecast accuracy and bias to improve the consensus demand plan.

  • Leading the EMEA Demand Plan Review in support of S&OP.

  • Working with typically complex data and multiple hierarchies to prepare and summarize data to track, report and improve our understanding of the business.

  • Ensuring decisions and direction from the Demand Plan Review are incorporated into the plan and driven through the system to the Supply Planning Team for execution.

  • Managing the field inventory process.

  • Developing the target setting methodology for field inventory and ensures supply to meet patient needs.

  • Developing processes and systems to optimize the tracking and management of field inventory.

Your profile:

  • University degree and 5+ years of related work experience with demonstrated understanding of demand planning and inventory management.

  • Fluent in English. Additional European languages are a plus.

  • Minimum 1 year:

    • APICS or Lean certification highly desirable.

    • Experience working across country and regional borders.

  • Minimum 3 years:

    • Medical device or other highly regulated industry.

    • SAP APO DP, SAP SNP, SAP ECC.

    • Leading or participating in S&OP process, especially demand planning.

    • Microsoft Excel.

    • Collecting and analyzing data, drawing conclusions and presenting findings to a broader audience.

  • The ability to travel as needed (up to 25%) both domestically and internationally.
