We have currently identified 3 positions in R&D Finance (Location = Beerse, Belgium), 1 position in Janssen Business Service (Location = Beerse, Belgium) and 1 position in Supply Chain Finance (Location = Geel, Belgium). Key responsibilities of the internships can include: Activities to support the financial close activities: processing journal entries, supporting internal and external audits,… Consolidation of back-up documentation for R&D expenses to determine allowability of our costs under certain grant programs (US Government, European Commission,…) Controlling activities: preparation of budget vs. actuals overviews and management reporting Analyze resource databases: identify differences and suggest appropriate corrective actions where needed. Documenting and analysing transactions hitting into our SAP accounting system Support financial reporting, late-stage product strategy and divestment projects Ad Hoc related projects Qualifications Successful candidates will need: Master education in Economics (should not be completed yet) Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills Fluency in English; other European languages are an asset To demonstrate talent and drive Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Primary Location Europe/Middle East/Africa-Belgium-Antwerp-Beerse or Geel – due to COVID-19 restrictions a partially virtual internship can be considered (partially working from home) Organization Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V.
