Your Role

As an intern, you will learn to execute the following tasks

  • Set-up of survey work at project start-up: installation of equipment (sounding equipment, tide gauges, positioning system equipment, etc.);
  • Determining the most suitable sounding method;
  • Carrying out the measurements;
  • Calculating the dredging quantities carried out;
  • Drawing up maps using specific software;
  • Maintenance and calibration of the various high-tech systems;
  • Point of contact for positioning systems on board the vessels;
  • Reporting on activities to line management;
  • Monitoring the work of local Surveyors;
  • Keeping Survey records up to date.
