We’re looking for an IT/Digital Business Partner

To support the continuous growth of our business unit Televic GSP Rail, we are currently looking for a driven IT/Digital Business Partner.

As an IT Business Partner you’ll take on a variety of tasks within the Televic GSP Rail business unit. You’ll bridge the gap between the Group IT Department and the business by analyzing processes, reporting your findings to the CIO, proposing and implementing solutions and being the right-hand (wo)man of the VP Operations & Projects.

You’ll manage the digital transformation agenda at Televic GSP Rail internationally (for Belgium, Germany and the U.S.A.) and know what priorities to set by combining project and budget management with executing functional business analyses. By deep diving into various configurations of business applications, you will be able to get the most out of the business.

Working as an IT Business Partner at Televic means

• You will identify application and technical needs within the Televic GSP Rail unit by investigating your own findings and the feedback you’ll receive from your colleagues. It will be your duty to delve into each problem to understand how the processes are being executed to date and how to improve them in a sustainable way that works for the business.
• The two-weekly meetings with the VP Operations & Projects of Televic GSP Rail and the CIO of Televic Group will help you set priorities and telling wheat from chaff in terms of urgency of each matter. The ideas arising from your observations can now be put on the table and discussed further.
• Setting up digital systems within your capabilities is certainly part of the job description. When more in-depth information is needed, you can communicate this perfectly to internal and external experts and are able to collaborate with them.
• Having a “getting things done”-attitude will help you to manage the roadmap for all IT and digital projects assigned to the unit. You’ll be taking the role of a great project manager by drawing up clear agreements with the IT team, business colleagues and external partners with attention to realistic deadlines within budget. This approach prevents unnecessary complexities when ending projects when the defined scope has been met.
• You’ll become the IT expert in terms of supply chain management, project management and R&D for the Televic GSP Rail unit and will know how to translate your expertise into clear documents for all parties involved. Before implementing your proposals for digital improvements, all parties must be informed and approve the plans.
• Once a week, you’ll be joining the IT team to stay well acquainted with the ongoing projects and innovative experiments the team is working on and to exchange experiences with the experts in the field.
• You’ll be working in the headquarters of Televic Belgium, or you’ll be based in the Berlin office. This means you’re willing to travel from one location to the other as well.
  
  

Do You Have These Professional Skills

• You spot opportunities within businesses and know how to convert these into efficient processes, developments and improvements.
• Executing data analyses with software like Excel, Power Query or Power BI are a piece of cake for you.
• ERP-systems (Such as SAP, Navision, …) barely hold any secrets for you anymore or you know how to unravel them.
• Besides traditional systems, you’re eager to learn about other innovative solutions as well (SAAS, IBPMS, RPA, chatbots, …)
• You have a Master’s Degree preferably (related to) economics and over 5 years of work experience.
