We are looking for an IT onsite support engineer for a company located in Zaventem.
You will be working onsite with an important client in Ternat.

Your tasks:

As an IT onsite support engineer you update on weekly basis attendance timesheet, to be issued in SharePoint.
You attend periodical meetings with the client leadership.
You work properly with the client’s ticketing system and you deal with incidents and requests in accordance with SLA’s.
You give priority to VIPs’ cases and high priority cases pointed out by the client’s leadership.
You cooperate with the client’s teams in the resolution of local cases.
You support remotely users, if needed.
Furthermore you provide new joiners with their equipment (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) and make sure everything is properly installed/configured in accordance with the client’s standard.
You assists customers with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, software, tablets, smartphones, and other electronic devices within established standards and guidelines.
You contact end users especially in case of Very Dissatisfied responses, leading to final resolution of the issues they experienced as well as to avoid future reoccurrences of such cases.
You support the client’s remote teams, in case of site’s servers/network devices require local intervention.
You support local meetings/conference rooms, and update this in a report on a weekly basis to be issued in SharePoint with status of local meeting rooms.
Lastly you keep track of spare items in stock, updating this in a report on a weekly basis to be issued in SharePoint.

Profiel

Your profile:

  • You have very good knowledge of English, French and Dutch
  • You preferably have 2-3 years’ experience in IT support or you have very good IT skills
  • You have good knowledge of Windows 10/11
  • You can install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows, Mac and any other authorized desktop software/ applications.
  • You can install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot End User Workspace Hardware such as Desktop, Laptops, Printers, Mobile.
  • Devices, Video and Conferencing Equipment and any other authorized peripheral equipment and devices.
  • You are customer oriented and you ensure good end-user liaison.
  • You can work independently and in team.
  • You can work under pressure.
  • You are polite and can organize your work without supervision.
  • You are flexible: out of hours support (on call / call out) may be required on some occasions.
