Are you an amazing IT Finance Analytics Project Leadeager to join our IT department,based in our Brussels office in Belgium?

As an IT Finance Analytics Project you will be on the forefront in implementing innovative digital solutions leveraging Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. For taking this innovation to the next level, we are looking for an Analytics lead to deliver impact.

You will contribute by:

• Partnering with your stakeholders: connect and communicate with your stakeholders to understand and identify new business requirements and possibilities for innovation. Together you build a data analytics strategy and common roadmap.
• Delivering Projects: Act as the project manager / squad lead on key analytics and reporting project. Closely collaborate with all parties involved (Finance and IT, internal and external partners), following the UCB IT project methodology. You take ownership to deliver on time, budget and with the required quality.
• Mastering the data foundation and flows: Leverage the power of our financial data by creating a strong data foundation and architecture. You explore structured and unstructured datasets to generate insights.
• Driving Innovation: Follow market trends and industry best practices with the aim of sharing the acquired knowledge inside UCB and of applying it to propose innovative solutions.
• Act as a IT ambassador: Actively take part in the implementation of the IT analytics strategy. Ensure compliance of the solutions to global process and legal requirements, follow validation guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• Passionate about technology and how it can improve the life of patients
• Master Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or related
• 4+ years of experience with Data Warehouse and Analytics / Reporting solutions. The core solutions you will be exposed to are mainly SAP BW (Hana), Denodo, Qlik, R, Cognos BI, Collibra. Knowledge of SAP ERP (FI/CO) is considered a plus.
• High interest in Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. You have notions of what Data Science means and love to explore analytical models to effectively communicate with data scientists
• You understand key financial concepts and have worked in this area already. Terms as Forecasting, Opex, P&L, COGS, balance sheets, spend… don’t scare you. Gradually you expand your scope to other datasets.
• Project management expertise and proven track record in managing relationships with business partners and external IT suppliers
• Love to think strategically, holistic and value focused. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are Solution oriented.
• Storytelling ability to make effective presentations to diverse groups and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
• You possess a Digital Mindset and are passionate about how technology can improve the life of patients
• Fast paced, changing environment doesn’t scare you. On the contrary, you easily adapt and can contribute to the team thanks to your can-do attitude
• Fluent in English
