Are you an amazing IT Industrial Experteager to join our IT department,based in our Braine-l’Alleudoffice in Belgium?As an IT Industrial Expert you will envision the future of industrial infrastructure, partner with stakeholders to run and implement technical solutions.You will also prepare and execute the IT transformation of our industrial landscape and be a referent and leader during the journey through industry 4.0.You like to work in an environmentwhere you can:
  • Manage transformation project and support business project with the help of team of subject matter expert and project manager.
  • Manage budgets to deliver project and industrial infrastructure.
  • Solution advisory, Solution Engineering and design (developing and realizing a long-term view from vision to tactical technical solutions for the IT landscape in scope)
  • Envision the future of IT infrastructure and develop strategies and tactics.
  • Formulate rules, principles and guidelines to drive the development of technical solutions and monitor adherence.
  • Survey market landscape for latest trends, solution insights, vendors and methods
  • Solution development and delivery (Across teams, clients, partners and the IT industry).
  • Apply best practices of the industry, review and improve it with the architecture board.
  • Suggest alternative tactics or solutions to meet desired and reusable outcome.
  • Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
  • Drive technical direction for the design, development and system integration from definition through implementation up to go live.
  • Keeps infrastructure coordinators and project managers well informed of the status of development effort.
  • Responsible for Development and Platform lifecycle.
  • Manages technical resources.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experienceandskills:
  • 5 years of experience minimum in a similar role.
  • Experience in industrial applications (DCS, MES, EMS, LIMS,…)
  • Experience in cybersecurity
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of all Datacenter/Clouds system architecture, platform and technologies.
  • Good understanding on how manufacturing, laboratory and industry work.
  • Lead a technical team of external consultants.
  • Curious and passionate about how different pieces fit together into a coherent solution.
  • Knowledge of IT service management, knowledge of project management framework and processes (PMI, ITIL, PRINCE…).
  • Strong social and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French
