Computacenter Belgium is looking for an IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - BRAINE L’ALLEUD

Who We’re Looking For

We have an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic Technical Resource Group Mobile team, onsite at one of our Key Customers in Braine L’Alleud.

The role is primarily non client facing and plays a vital part in supporting the rest of the team and our customers with all things IT related.

What You’ll Do

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Receiving and processing warehouse stock products.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits.
• To prepare laptop, desktop with company OS image via WDS.
• To install packaged application via SCCM.
• Ensuring the Tickets (incidents/requests) is in line with the scope of activities – Screening.
• Proper Ticket management.
• Have some knowledge on core end user applications who will have to be installed/stagged on the computers.
• Administration of Microsoft based systems (Active Directory, Desktops/Laptops, standard desktop tools).
• End of leasing management, wiping, contact with the recovery service.
• Logistic management, stacker, pallet sorting.
• Management of HP repairs, ticket creation, creation and follow up of the appointments with external technicians.
• International shipment of devices, organizing shipments via UPS

What You’ll Need

• You bring hands-on technical skills as well as great interpersonal skills.
• Previous knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Basic previous experience of supporting Mobile devices and hand-held devices
• Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information
• Previous experience working in a corporate IT environment is an asset
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills; adaptable and welcoming of change and communicating change to customers
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Willing to take initiative and be hands-on
• Very good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and good command of French
