Junior Accountant – Gembloux m/f/x

For an innovative, young and dynamic company located in Gembloux, we are looking for a junior accountant.

The company has been active for 10 years in the research and development of new technologies.

As a member of the accounting team, your role will consist of various tasks such as:

  • Maintain the accounts and encoding of various accounting documents
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register
  • Prepare audit, verification and processing of expense claims
  • Produce payment claim reports
  • Ensure timely payment of corporate taxes and grants
  • Liaise with payroll advisors
  • Accounting for payroll journals
  • Reconcile all inter-company balances
  • Process accounts payable
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist the accounts manager in preparing

The profile required for this position is :

  • Bachelor degree in accounting
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with accounting and audit officials
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of accounting software
  • Good knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • No experience required
