We are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our Belgian HR team to provide support to the Human Resources & Payroll team in day-to-day activities.

Someone who can bring continuous improvement of the HR function through development and implementation of new programs & technologies.

You will get the opportunity to grow to an HR Business Partner role in close collaboration with a senior HR Business Partner who will coach and develop you into this new role.

Responsabilities
  • HR Office Management:
    • Provide support to HR’s & Payroll’s day-to-day activities.
    • Manage the full onboarding & off-boarding process. From contracts, HR sessions and onboarding documents to exit interviews, termination agreements and follow-up of all (legal) requirements.
    • Operate as first point of contact for basic management of HR-related queries and issues (legislation, compliance, HR systems, practices and procedures).
    • Not only organize and structure the current processes but also constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas.
    • Write HR communication newsletters to provide to-the-point information to both Line Managers and employees.
  • Business Partner
    • You ask the right questions to the right people within the organization to capture their needs, so you can come up with pragmatic solutions in line with IQVIA strategy and policies. E.g., employee transfer between countries, international new hires, …
    • You will evolve to the single point of contact and advisor for managers regarding a wide range of questions about employees, HR policies and projects.
    • You are the key person to go to for advice in offers, promotions and salary raises. You also make sure we meet all legal requirements.
    • You contribute to the development, execution, and implementation of HR projects within your client groups.
    • Your role also involves performing tasks with a focus to retain and attract our (future) talent and improve our HR operations.
  • Learning & Development:
    • Organize trainings for employees & managers.
    • Register annual development plans and ensure refunds and grants.
    • Contact with external training providers.
    • Capture training needs
  • Employer branding
    • Work closely with marketing and the business to have an impact on both external and internal employer branding.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to work autonomously, under pressure, in decentralized teams, and think outside the box.
  • Sound knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Dutch, French and English), with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Good problem-solving skills, hands-on attitude and agile
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications (e.g. Workday).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and manage projects.
