Excel Careers and Excel Interim is a Recruitment Consultancy specialized in administrative support profiles such as receptionists, management assistants, executive / personal assistants, HR assistants, sales and marketing assistants, office managers, customer service, digital marketing officers, etc. We work with companies in a variety of sectors and offer both permanent and temporary contracts.

We are currently recruiting an IT Support Specialist for one of our clients, a company from the legal sector located in Brussels, accessible by public transportation, to provide general IT support to the team/office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide end user IT support for matters related to desktop/ laptop/mobile devices and peripherals
  • Respond to queries and follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Involve in basic network configuration and maintenance:
    • Local Area Networks (LAN)
    • Wide Area Networks (WAN)
    • Wireless Networks (AP)

Profile :
  • First experience in IT support is a plus, young graduate are welcome
  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
  • Familiarity with both PC/Laptops, mobile devices (Hardware and Software)
    • Windows Operating Systems
    • iOS (iPhones/iPads)
    • Android (Smartphones/Tablets)
  • Understand ‘Network Repairs’ and ‘Analysis’
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Technology platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
  • Ability to grasp new processes, services and concepts
  • Attention to detail and able to take initiative
  • Team player and strong interpersonal and communication skills
