About The Position

FiscalNote Europe is seeking a Junior Manager to help lead its Brussels based policy research team. We require curious and creative minds who are looking to take their passions for EU Affairs to the next level. The FiscalNote Europe Senior Policy Advisor is a great opportunity for those looking to expand their management responsibilities and lead a small team.

About EU Issue Tracker Team At FiscalNote Europe

Delivering objective, structured and accurate near real-time EU legislative and regulatory tracking and horizon-scanning, our clients gain a systematic edge in regulatory monitoring. Our dedicated team of analysts work with Product and Business Development Teams in delivering the right EU data and analysis to our client base at the right time. Insightful and diligent, the EU Issue Tracker team works in a fast-paced continuous learning environment where teamwork and subject matter expertise are vital for producing the reliable, high-quality analysis we are known for.

What To Expect In This Position
  • Management of policy analysts work and responsible for their professional development
  • Responsible for controlling the quality of the work of Policy Analyst(s) and developing junior talent
  • Attending and contributing to management meetings on performance of their team, product quality and company direction
  • Leading on projects relating to existing or future EU Issue Tracker product features, including maintaining existing policy coverage and/or developing new content verticals.
What Sets You Apart
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects or being a Team Lead
  • Experience in editing, proofreading and/or publishing
  • 2+ years experience in EU policy monitoring or equivalent experience
  • Master’s in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics
  • A clear ability in conceptual thinking and analytical writing
  • Native or equivalent written and spoken English, plus other EU languages
  • Experience working in EU institutions is a plus
  • Passionate about EU politics and affairs
  • Willing to learn both by doing and through formal training
  • Enjoy being part of a fast-paced and dynamic team
