About Our Client

Our client, an international company located in the region of Mechelen, is looking for a Junior Treasury Analyst to strengthen the team. You will join an international team and have the possibility to grow.

Job Description

As Junior Treasury Analyst you will perform daily cash management operations and work with the Accounting department to ensure proper recognition of cash movements:
  • Review and reconcile prior day EMEA cash positions in the Treasury Management System
  • Prepare daily intragroup wires and third party payments
  • Work with Accounting department to increase proper allocation of bank transactions
  • Work with Accounting Department to increase intercompany settlements and reduce IC exposures
  • Compile foreign currency exposure information
  • Serve as system administrator in the Treasury Management System and (Bank) software
  • Prepare Bank documentation (KYC, update bank mandates, other requests…)
  • Provide reporting and analysis on bank account activity (fees, interest, etc.)
  • Provide support to the business units for letters of credit and performance bonds
  • Partner with our banking service providers to resolve issues
  • Strive for continued process improvement, utilizing technology solutions and professional development
You will work in a team of 4 colleagues for the EMEA region.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Accounting or Finance
  • First working experience in Treasury or Accounting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and ability to learn to work with Treasury Management System The ability to become a proficient user of the FIS Integrity Treasury Workstation or other future Treasury Management Systems.
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
