OverviewThe KAM is responsible to manage selected Key Accounts in Benelux, growing their business profitably following a defined business plan, identifying business opportunities and partnerships, negotiating deals and executing contracts in cooperation and in alignment with the EMEA Key Account Manager – for EMEA accounts), the Account Managers, the Field Sales and the Regional Sales Managers.
Key Accounts are multi-site laboratories with presence and activities spread over multiple sales territories within the Benelux
The Key Account Manager coordinates the activities at Regional level, develops the business plan and executes it in cooperation and in alignment with the EMEA Key Account Managers, the Account Managers, the Sales Managers and the supporting functions.
This includes the coordination of participation at tenders, building close relationships with key individuals to develop trust and developing customers satisfaction and Bio-Rad’s brand image.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, manage and grow new and existing business relationships with assigned Key Accounts within the Benelux.
Develop strategic plans focused on revenue/margin growth for assigned Key Accounts within the region.
Identify and secure a continuous flow of beneficial partnership opportunities that lead to a number of high value agreements, and ensure the growth of quality relationships with each assigned Key Account.
Lead the preparation, negotiation, implementation and continuous management of business partnership agreements and contracts.
Monitor partnership value and performance over time (ie revenue and profit) and initiate appropriate action to maintain partnerships as win/win
Qualifications
Excellent leadership skills, Strategic thinker
Effective negotiator
Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
Collaborative relationship building within organization and industry
Good industry knowledge of products and competitors of the clinical diagnostic market.
Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with diverse functions
Fluent in English, Dutch and French
