As Key Account Manager you will drive the connection with our key channel partners in Belgium & Luxemburg. You will work as a trusted advisor for the PC & gaming categories – building and managing joint business plans, designing online & in-store marketing activities, managing key stakeholder relationships (at the partner and within Microsoft) and driving transformation. You will manage one Field Account Manager and you will report to the Sales Lead for Benelux.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of the retailer’s strategy, objectives and profitability drivers.
  • Identify key focus areas to create actionable & impactful account plans in close alignment with the retailers.
  • Develop strategies to compete and win share for our products & services within our partners by ensuring the right assortment, availability, traffic and conversion.
  • Drive consistent execution in close collaboration with the category & channel marketing teams. Use results to learn from execution successes and failures.
  • Support and develop our partners through the digital transformation journey to ensure omni-channel presence and growth.
  • Drive and land regular account performance reviews internally and with partners
  • Secure high levels of partner satisfaction through timely issue resolution and process optimization
  • Demonstrate creativity and entrepreneurial behaviour. Share, learn and implement best practices from and with other teams in EMEA.

Qualifications

  • University/college degree
  • Experience in retail, consumer electronics and/or FMCG
  • Track record of proven business operational excellence and sales results through joint business planning, landing channel strategies and performance monitoring
  • Deep understanding of the digital and physical buying journey
  • Building strategic relationships and partnering with senior account executives at CxO level
  • Driving long-term sustainable sales growth with partners
  • Ability to analyze sales data, draw relevant conclusions, develop accurate business plans and forecasts
  • Experience managing ambiguity and rapid change – demonstrate agility and risk-taking
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Fluency in French, Dutch and English is required
