About Our Client

Our client is an international law firm, located in Brussels, providing services to Belgian and international clients.

Job Description

Our client is looking for a life science lawyer to join their multi-disciplinary Dispute Resolution practice who operates with a strong focus on Healthcare & Life Sciences. Your responsibilities will be:

  • Advising clients on the full life-cycle of their healthcare products (including medical devices, medicinal products, biopharmaceuticals, food supplements and cosmetics), under Belgian laws, European Union laws and internationally
  • Advising clients on Regulatory aspects within the following areas : search & development (R&D), studies, trials and investigations, qualification and classification of healthcare products, marketing authorization and CE-marking requirements, manufacture, import/export and distribution, market access (including pricing and reimbursement), public procurement (tenders), advertising and marketing, compliance and product liability
  • Participate in the firm’s development through activities such as publishing articles and participating to seminars and/or conferences

The Successful Applicant

  • Master in Belgian law with strong academic records
  • Between 1 and 8 years of experience in Healthcare & Life Science sector at the bar (preferably in international law firm)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), and a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
  • Proactive and commercial approach
  • Team spirit and ambitious
