The Logistics Consultant (ad interim) is in charge of the logistics operations for parts & accessories for the brand Toyota and Lexus to ensure seamless, efficient and qualitative warehousing, delivery and distribution to our dealer networks.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the specialist in the current spare parts process, in- ánd outside SAP.
  • Actively contribute to the planned changes to SAP, be the key user/tester and ensure a smooth implementation, together with IT and Toyota Motor Europe.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities.
  • Manage and optimise daily operations of the automotive products warehouse, ensuring qualitative infrastructure and resources.
  • Act as liaison between all stakeholders (OEM or other external suppliers, dealerships, logistic partners).
  • Optimize dealership network service levels based on forecasting analysis.
  • Manage warehouse personnel and budget efficiency.
  • Serve as logistics contact between other departments if needed.

Skills And Experience

  • Proficiency in logistics systems, stock management, and warehouse equipment.
  • Experience in SAP is crucial.
  • Solution-oriented with pragmatic problem-solving approach.
  • Creative thinking to enhance service and process.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Operational forecasting ability.
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch, knowledge of second language needed.
