What You Will Do

  • Brokerage (40%)
  • Create certificate of origin forms using an online VOKA application
  • Maintain Trade Document Requirement matrix EMEAI for all stakeholders
  • Manage export licenses, import permits, in-transits or special certificates
  • Assist if clearance issues, authority inspections or blocked shipments occur
  • Coordinate brokerage returns, temporary exports
  • Auditing of EU forwarder invoices related to import duties and other taxes
  • Verify outbound data quality. Maintain/extend inbound HS import code database
  • Perform weekly AEO data checks, audit broker data and install controls/assessments
  • Identify risks/opportunities, optimize efficiency/procedures, simplify and digitalize
  • Assist in achieving customs and trade compliance yearly goals and objectives
  • Participate in internal/external audits related to customs brokerage/compliance
  • Record Keeping / Document Retention (20%)
  • Make sure all outbound/inbound declarations are archived during legal periods
  • Check if all foreign company transactions are covered by broker declaration
  • Ensure that all related legal trade documents are being properly archived
  • Create inbound traceability reference between PO and clearance document
  • Comply with the Victaulic global Document Retention Policy
  • Logistics (40%)
  • Provide support in the daily tasks of Logistics when the workload requires it
  • In absence of your logistics colleagues, you will be their back up for (not an exhaustive list):
  • Handle customs and trade compliance requests
  • Monitor outbound delivery exceptions and solve service issues.
  • Handle spot quotes.
  • Prepare outbound shipment documentation for air/sea/express/prefabrication
  • Monitor inbound delivery exceptions, solve issues, escalation person for air/sea/express inbound

About You

  • You have 5 to 10 years experience in brokerage/compliance and logistics/transport (MA/BA)
  • You are familiar with incoterms, international trade, excel.
  • You fluently speak/write English (company language) and are a good communicator
  • You have excellent organizational skills and can work independently/accurately
  • You are self-motivated, taking initiatives to optimize, a good problem solver
  • You like building strong relationships with external partners, internal colleagues and global teams
