About our client
As a Logistics Analyst you support the logistic operations and function as the point of contact for the customers to follow up the delivery process of the goods to the customer. You support supply chain in order to understand how information from customers is being received and follow up two main flows: from customer to the company and from the company to customer for each project. You reduce urgent transport costs through negotiation with customers.
Description
- You check daily call offs and evaluate & validate EDI integration to inform about discrepancies. You report on a weekly basis any delays that might occur and detect & inform preventitvely potential production stoppages.
- You evaluate and compare customer demand with contract volumes sold at the beginning of the project. You follow up stock of racks/stillages/pallets and customer stock to avoid production stoppages.
- You follow up customer portals to check on the performance from the company as a supplier. You track the 8D’s and customer claim topics internally and take actions to resolve any issues.
- You detect & inform preventitevely potential volume changes that impact contracts and/or agreements with suppliers.
- You keep specific procedures based on customer requirements updated. You define internal KPI’s (quality, costs, performance) aiming for continuous improvement.
- You follow the changes about labels, documents, standards... creating & tracking IT tickets.
- You issue the documents according to each shipment as required and follow up or support the loading with the warehouse team (invoice, delivery note, labels, CMR’s...)
- You keep the document database updated with all mandatory documents to ensure the invoicing procedure is fulfilled on time.
- You follow up the production dates with planning as well as the output on a daily basis (SAP, Snowden report, PowerBI,...)
- You build up good relations with customers through regular visits and lead the periodic customer meetings for evaluation.
Profile
- You have bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, supply chain or any related field. Relevant experience qualifies equally.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in customer service in logistics, preferably in an industrial company.
- You speak fluently Dutch and English.
- You have insights in the supply chain process from planning to production.
- You can set priorities, collaborate with different teams and are customer-oriented.
- You have an excellent knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of SAP and/or PowerBI is considered a big plus.
