Join our TUI BLUE & Hotel Concepts team as a Logistics Executive where you will provide administrative and logistical support to the Entertainment & CX team ensuring the entertainment and specialist factors for differentiated products are delivered in the most cost effective and efficient way.This is a fixed term 12month contract to cover maternity leave.This role is ideally based from the UK but can either be one our other European Head offices or beach destinations (CET+/-2hrs), where international travel is required.About The Job- You will work to ensure that all travel logistical requirements, transportation and accommodation for third-party staff and consultants are in place, ensuring the most cost-effective routes are utilised.
- Liaising between destination and 3rd party suppliers to organise transportation and additional requests required for musicians, production teams or UK acts and manage any day-to-day changes.
- You will ensure Maintenance Trips and Consultancy Visits are in place for set-up and pack down at the beginning and end of season, as well as regular visits throughout the year.
- Assisting with booking international travel for the wider TUI BLUE & Hotel Concept department, you will also support conferences/briefings/training courses for the entertainment operation including logistical requirements.
- Our musicians, production teams and UK Acts are an invaluable part of the entertainment offering, so you will be setting up and managing these on a day-to-day basis
- Jointly review all travel logistical procedures and own their set up ensuring that the specialist factors of supplier contracts are considered.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records, accounts and data relating to all entertainment and specialist functions will help to ensure suppliers stay within the agreed budget.
- Together with the Entertainment & CX Manager, you will have sight of your set logistics budget per concept and will need to ensure that spend is kept within these budgets. You will manage a company credit card and will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are reconciled and coded to the correct cost centre in line with finance deadlines.
- Responsible for ensuring all 3rd party staff are enrolled on the company Insurance Policy, maintaining monthly updates for all new additions and deletions.
- Previous background working in travel, accommodation or tour operator bookings highly desirable but not essential.
- Fluent verbal and written English is a requirement for this role. Other European languages would be advantageous.
- Understanding of the TUI Group differentiated concepts highly beneficial.
- Extreme attention to detail is required for this role.
- Ability to manage own workload and adhere to strict deadlines whilst remaining agile and proactively seeks opportunities for improvement.
- A strong customer and client focused mindset and ability to interpret a variety of customer insights
- Confident using Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook essential.
- A self-motivated individual who can work on own initiative and collaboratively as an international team to deliver results
- A skilled and articulate communicator, with the confidence and proven ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders.
- International capability working with multiple customers and stakeholders across a range of source markets is desirable
