????MISSIONS:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize supply chain efficiency, minimize costs, and improve delivery performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including factories, and customer service
  • Oversee the selection and management of third-party logistics providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation and warehousing services and operational flows
  • Monitor and analyze logistics metrics and KPIs, such as delivery time and service level, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze and forecast the logistics cost and required budget in detail
  • Manage inventory control, including stock levels, replenishment, and warehouse organization, to minimize stockouts and overstock situations
  • Processing and planning of co-packing activities and stock management and budget
  • The customers Logistics’ claims management.

????QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum level of education and professional experience needed:
  • Degree in Logistic Management (or equivalent)
  • Minimal 4 or 5 years of relevant international professional experience within complex organizations (preferably FMCG).
  • Specific knowledge (foreign languages, software, technical skills):
  • Fluent in English, French and NL is an important plus
  • Strong experience as project manager
  • String planning & organizing skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • Strong analytical insights
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Supply chain management
  • Stock management
  • Claim management
  • Financial knowhow
  • Order and invoicing processes
  • Knowledge of the local market: customers/retailers, wholesalers, distributors, competitors and logistic service providers
  • IT knowledge on ERP/SAP, reporting tools and Office tools.
