KONE has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager, responsible for the logistics operations in Belgium and Luxembourg. You ensure the fulfillment of the agreed delivery time at the sites, while always looking for ways to improve the logistics network and ensure a close collaboration with the technicians, supervisors, field managers and project managers.

A grasp of your responsibilities:

Tendering, Planning & People Management:

  • You are responsible for logistics service offering, regulating changes, logistic markets and business development in the Belux
  • You will monitor and drive Logistics performance in the BeLux and manage the logistics total cost.
  • You ensure that customer needs and business requirements within the BeLux are understood and included in logistics teams´ targets and daily work and are aligned with EMEA logistics strategy and operating model
  • You are responsible to align with the country and Front-line business owners to define customer needs, resulting in service requests and to collect customer feedback
  • You will manage the all stakeholders and their expectations
  • You lead selected logistics partner network negotiations and support supplier negotiations when needed
  • You lead, coach, involve and develop your logistics team, ensuring proper level of training, and acting to mitigate identified gaps on competences

Change Management:

  • You continuously challenge the ‘as is’ situation of our internal network and define clear actions to reach the optimal solution, taking into account the interests of both our logistics and operations departments;
  • You identify anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to address the concerns;
  • You give meaning and direction to the change by aligning all stakeholders involved and supporting them cascading a compelling story throughout the organization;
  • You help create a culture of continuous improvement and initiate clearly defined actions to put these ideas into practice.

Who are you?

  • You have a bachelor or master degree and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • You are strong in building internal and external networks and can rely on your communication skills to do so
  • You are fluent in French, Dutch and English
  • In this position, you will be based in our office in Brussels and regularly visit our sites and regional branches.
