Context of the mission/Objective(s) of the job:

We are looking for Microsoft 365 expert with a strong focus on productivity tools, particularly SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive (Exchange is less of a priority). The goal is to support ongoing projects at Client, including the rollout of Microsoft Loop, which is a relatively new module. The expert should help ensure a structured and controlled implementation of Loop, as well as contribute to broader Microsoft 365 environment upgrades. This includes optimizing storage and retention policies and addressing customization needs from the business, such as improving SharePoint sites and Teams setups. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 core tools, especially in customization and optimization, to help close service gaps and enhance internal collaboration platforms.

Team information :

The team operates globally within the digital technology stack, specifically under IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 cloud and digital workplace technologies. It consists of internal squad leads, each specializing in areas like unified communications (e.g., Teams, contact centers) and the Power Platform. Most of the technical experts are external consultants, though they are fully integrated into the team culture. The team includes around 20 people based in Europe, and they value in-person collaboration, encouraging team members to work from the HQ office twice a week. Additionally, there’s an operations team of about 40 people, also based in Europe. Experience working with offshore teams is important, as collaboration dynamics differ from those with European teams.

Minimum years of experience :

The manager is looking for a medior-level profile with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, specifically with functional expertise across its core tools. More experience is welcome, but three years is the minimum requirement.

Must have:

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and proven expertise in the Microsoft 365 productivity stack, with particular value placed on experience with Microsoft Loop and Copilot. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves not only internal collaboration but also engagement with stakeholders and end users. Proficiency in English is crucial, as it is the primary language used within the team and across the organization. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a genuine passion for technology, showing eagerness to explore new tools and continuously improve existing systems.

Pharma experience :

Pharma experience is not strictly required for the role. While there are validation and documentation processes to consider, these are not specific to the pharmaceutical industry and should not be seen as a blocker for candidates without a pharma background.

Nice to have :

A strong advantage would be PowerShell scripting skills, as some configurations within Microsoft environments are not easily adjustable through the graphical user interface and require PowerShell for more advanced or automated changes.
