In onze vestiging in Lummen, SABCA Limburg, zijn we gespecialiseerd in de fabricage van hoogtechnologische compositieassemblages voor vliegtuigen.

Enerzijds produceren we geïntegreerde lagen voor de vleugels en stabilisatoren met behulp van twee automatische tape-lagen en zeer grote autoclaven en natuurlijk

de uitgebreide knowhow van onze collega’s in samenwerking met het ingenieursbureau in Brussel is SABCA Limburg ook verantwoordelijk voor de Flaptrack

stroomlijnkappen van verschillende vliegtuigen.

Aan de andere kant is de ruimtevaartindustrie ook aanwezig in deze site met de uiteindelijke systeemintegratie van Ariane en Vega-assemblages.

Mission

As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and production equipment. You develop, optimize, and maintain maintenance plans while providing technical expertise to support continuous improvement in our operations.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Optimization

  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans, including spare parts strategy and external support.
  • Improve maintenance processes based on corrective actions, preventive insights, and evolving operational needs.
  • Provide technical support for predictive and preventive maintenance.

Technical & Methodological Support

  • Assist technicians with complex interventions to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Lead major retrofit projects for industrial equipment in collaboration with team leaders.

Data & Supplier Management

  • Manage the SAP PM maintenance system: machine data entry, work order tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain external relations with key suppliers and manufacturers.

Compliance & Quality Standards

  • Ensure adherence to EN9100 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental regulations.
  • Contribute to safety, health, and environmental best practices.

Profile

  • Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
  • 4-5 years of experience in equipment reliability or maintenance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery (machining equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, and SAP PM knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of quality systems & safety regulations.
  • Basic finance knowledge to manage maintenance budgets
