As Manager Operations & Gateway you are responsible for the operational success of our Airfeight activities in Belgium. You are part of our dynamic team in Machelen and manage a team of 35 people. You will report to the Airfreight Director.

Responsibilities
  • Steering and supporting our operational teams as a good people manager
  • Responsibility for the financial targets
  • Achieving the objectives and set KPI’s
  • Manage & underwrite monthly closings
  • Follow up of special & exceptional shipments
  • Daily monitoring of outgoing and incoming shipments
  • Expand cooperation with airlines
  • Providing information & advice to customers and employees
Profiel
  • Airfreight has no secrets for you
  • You have experience in managing a team
  • You are stress resistant, result oriented & have a sense of initiative
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
  • You are strong in coaching, guiding, and training of new employees
  • You have a clear vision
  • You speak fluent Dutch & English, French is a big plus
