We are searching for an IT Manager - Application Reliability Engineer to join us! The role Reliability Engineering is the field of designing, building, operating and maintaining highly scalable and resilient products. The practice involves taking a software engineering approach to Operations with a core focus on Automation, Observability and Controllability applied towards Business value. The role in this vacancy is responsible and accountable for the reliability - end to end - of the JNJ Corporate Business platforms. Corporate Business applications support processes like Procurement, Human Resources, Payroll, HealthCare Compliance and Facilities. This role requires a full stack approach starting from the front-end applications, the backend systems, integration/API’s to the hosting components. Therefore, a preventive monitoring approach will be essential to work in a proactive way with the service owners of the underlying services. End to end, you will be responsible for reliability, availability and capacity management, will handle problems with the needed urgency and ensure business continuity with disaster recovery. On top of that lead the portfolio with the different business partners from financial and service level perspective. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reliability in all its aspects in pro-active mode Change management including CI/CD Problem management avoiding issues to re-occur Capacity Management / Continuity management with disaster recovery. Continual Service Improvements / Intelligent automations including AIops Partner management, service management and financial management for operations services / application maintenance At Johnson & Johnson Technology, we started working in squad teams and established chapter teams. This role of Reliability Engineer CBT is also leading the Reliability chapter, bringing together different reliability engineers together as a community, to share and learn solutions and experiences across the different application clusters. We expect you to lead and encourage this community helping your colleagues to bring reliability in all applications to a higher maturity levels. Qualifications Qualifications Master in Technology Sciences, Economics or related field preferred Experienced in leading regional projects Experienced with IT service management, support services and its typical operations processes Knowledgeable about frameworks like ITIL, DEVOPS, SAFe, AIOps. Familiar with proactive monitoring, diagnostic analysis and actions to guarantee reliability and drive optimizations. Showing leadership and influencing skills to bring complex problems into resolution You are good with organizing, planning and prioritizing your own work and your team’s You can communicate well, verbal and written You like to analyze data to lead the application portfolio, partner services and financials You have continued awareness of technology advancements and IT leading practices with operations, which you will implement upon the opportunity. You have experience in 1 or more of the following technologies: Ariba SAP, Java/Symphony (PHP)/.net and integration / API tools, SalesForce.
