As a Manager Logistics & Warehouse Operations, you will be in the driver’s seat of your career. You will serve a diverse range of clients in multiple industries, while engaging actively in the firm’s initiatives.

• As a manager, you take on a leading role in growing Deloitte’s Logistics & Warehousing expertise within the key industries (life science, consumer business, private and E,R&I).
• You set a direction/vision and contribute to attract, create and retain a balanced team to deliver on this while operating in a growth environment and while clearly leading by example.
• You are responsible for assisting our clients with innovative and pragmatic solutions, helping them cope with the challenges they are facing in their day-to-day operations. You give operational advice in the field of warehouse management, transport planning and logistics, both in traditional businesses and e-commerce.
• You assure that your knowledge in Logistics & Warehousing, including e-commerce, remains cutting edge and you are on top of the latest industry trends.
• You deliver innovative and relevant service value propositions and tools to effectively position our team within Logistics & Warehousing Operations.
• You truly excel not only in reaching out to new clients but also in nurturing and building long-lasting relationships with existing clients. You are capable of being a trusted advisor to (senior) management functions within our clients. You thrive on ensuring the highest quality and ethical standards in your client advice and relations.
• You define, shape, lead and deliver projects within the client portfolio. You manage the cost, time, scope, risks, and quality of projects and ensure suitable controls are in place.
• You take a key role in establishing a team within the expertise of warehousing and logistics. You define and execute an action plan to thrive in knowledge building and to excel in serving clients within this area.

Let’s talk about you

• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in advisory within the Logistics & Warehousing area.
• You have a solid understanding of the logistics and warehousing processes and you are fully familiar with the challenges and opportunities that are imposed by e-commerce.
• You are familiar with S&OP, working capital, and other domains of supply chain management.
• You are capable of managing internal and external stakeholders and client expectations, ensuring the creation of solid client relationships.
• You have proven skills in the delivery of trusted advisory, business plans or business cases either in a consulting or in a managerial position.
• You are a team player with strong analytical and communication skills. You have a flexible and hands-on work ethic.
• You can work with industry-standard software and tool such as WMS and TMS and ERPs (SAP).
• You have a master’s in Business or Supply Chain/logistics or equivalent in terms of relevant work experience.
• Certifications in APICS, lean manufacturing (six sigma) or Prince2 are definitely a plus.
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English, Dutch, and/or French.

We guide and support our clients in transforming their supply chain departments into world-class departments. Our approach consists of strategic advisory projects and temporary staffing.
