Marketing and Communications Specialist (m/v)

Who are we?

Our client is a startup in Brussels and Flanders (Overijse) called Neuroventis, focused on re-thinking healthcare and providing technology that empowers patients with chronic disorders. We believe that our health care system is not focused (enough) on patients with chronic diseases and believe that technology can provide significant relief for both patients and physicians. We have developed an application called Helpilepsy, which helps patients and neurologists better understand their situation and have more control in their lives.

Your responsibilities

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be taking the lead in building the marketing and communication strategy, and striving actively to put Neuroventis’s brand online. Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for:

¿ Taking the lead in building the marketing and communication strategy (5%)

¿ Identifying customers¿ needs and conduct research to recommend new content topics (5%)

¿ Planning, writing and editing copy for use in different channels (35%)

¿ Promoting our solution during congresses (5%)

¿ Coordinating the design of promotional materials (e.g. flyers, rollups, social media posts..) (15%)

¿ Working closely with product team to manage all copy and communication used in the products (5%)

¿ Creating and owning the entire branding for new and existing products (10%)

¿ Monitoring the websites and social media pages (5%)

¿ Collaborating with stakeholders on joint marketing campaigns (5%)

¿ Analyzing the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports (5%)

¿ Developing strategies and tactics to drive more qualified traffic to our company (5%)

Profil

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist, who has an interest and passion for Marketing, Communications and Content, and wants to contribute to a cause.

We’re looking for a self-driven and motivated person, who can manage his/her time and projects independently

Ideally, you are someone that:

¿ You have ideally 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience as Content Specialist or a similar role (ideally in the medical or pharmaceutical sector).

¿ You are an independent and hands-on personality.

¿ You are happiest when you can put your writing and communications skills to good use.

¿ You are familiar with CMS systems and SEO.

¿ You like to explore new opportunities and are interested in developing strategies etc.

¿ You have excellent writing and communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
