Our Smart Cities division has a strong presence in the smart mobility domain for companies such as real-estate developer, business parks, the parking industry, as well as semi-public institutions such as hospitals and smart cities. For these segments we develop smart parking & mobility solutions through software and integration platforms. We do all this through our focus on operational excellence, creating great customer experiences and by using state of the art technologies such as artificial intelligence, edge computing, cloud-based development, micro services and many more. • We develop complex and challenging business applications, using the latest tools and technologies
• Based on the functional analysis we do hands-on design and software development, also ensuring good integration with external applications
• You will be part of a passionate agile team that consists of functional analysts, developers and a product owner.
• Your team is part of a bigger program team of multiple teams and so cross-team work is often part of that. We actively share knowledge and ensure continuous improvement
• The applications we build are of high quality and generate business value for our customers
• You write high quality, easily readable code and do refactoring where necessary. We guarantee quality through test driven development (TDD) and continuous learning and improvement.
• You will work at our offices in Hasselt or your home office.

Wat breng jij mee?

• You are familiar with OO design, the basics of functional programming and their application in C#, Cloud Native applications and the related design patterns
• You work test driven and you value the SOLID principles in your daily development work
• You have experience/affinity with Azure and Messaging concepts
• You have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably Azure CosmosDB)
• You bring along experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks (jquery, Ajax, Angular, React, …)
• Application lifecycle management, continuous integration, build & release pipeplines and the necessary tools for this (such as Azure DevOps, Teamcity, Git, etc.) are familiar territory for you.
• Being a team player is key. You’ll join a team with a ’can-do’ mentality that appreciates your input, ideas and solutions.
• Knowledge sharing, curiosity, drive and flexibility are part of your DNA.
• You will work in English speaking environment, so you can fluently speak and write in English. Speaking Dutch is an asset, not a must.
